Now enrolling for Fall of 2020; enrollment available at any time. Our private home school program offers options for ages 5-18. Our instruction is 100% individualized to each student, student interest based, and student driven. We are not a traditional school program; instead subjects are intertwined in real world, project based learning. Students interact with multiple age groups and get immediate challenge or intervention. We help students with time management and planning by having a fluid schedule that allows them to drive their learning with teacher support.
We offer home school 100% on-site, 100% virtual or as a hybrid (part on-site, part virtual). Our ratio on-site is at most a 10:1 ratio, but more often 5:1. Our high school program is fully accredited and all of our programs provide transcripts. We can also help with withdrawal procedures from public school. We hire only certified teachers or people getting their certification. We are NOT a franchise or cookie cutter program. Enrollment is available at any time for any of our programs, provided we have space available.

Achieve offers Diagnostic Testing for students in reading, language arts (writing) and math. Our testing program* places students on a K-12 continuum and outlines their strengths and areas of need in each subject area. We recommend testing at least once a year. However, many of our families prefer our 3 times a year option (beginning, middle, end) to see growth and inform instruction. *Students in tutoring services receive a discount for testing.
Neuropsychological testing by Rise Counseling is used to assess for learning disorders, attention problems, emotional and behavioral difficulties, developmental delays, and autism. The evaluation process involves a parent interview, completion of assessment instruments with the student, and collection of questionnaire data from the student, parents, and teachers. Cognitive abilities, academic skills, and other relevant domains are tested. The results are reviewed in a feedback meeting, and a report detailing the findings is provided. Parents typically request evaluations to gain a better understanding of why their child is having certain difficulties in school or at home and identify intervention strategies that may be useful.
